- THE TALK -
"They [RF-35s] reminded me of monitor speakers - those speakers used in recording studios which are very detailed and analytical-sounding, necessarily so at that stage of the process." —Greg Fleming, Tone, Sep/Oct 2003

"The Klipschs [RF-35s] had wonderful definition, especially on acoustic-based music, and a nice sense of what I call drama." —Greg Fleming, Tone, Sep/Oct 2003

"Expect the Klipsch RF-35s to become as popular as their predecessors."
—Greg Fleming, Tone, Sep/Oct 2003

"Many speakers sound like a very small-scale version of real musicians and singers; not the Klipsch RF-35s. They have a sense of scale that's hard to match, with body, weight and power." —FFWD Magazine, October/November 2003

"Its easy to tell that this speaker [RF-35] is all-American, because it's big: big cabinet, big drivers, big port in the back and a big sound. But there's a lot more to a Klipsch than size." —FFWD Magazine, October/November 2003

RF-35 Floorstanding Speakers
The Reference Series legacy of advanced technology and visual sophistication continues with the new RF-35 floorstanding loudspeaker. This dynamic performer is a refined version of the original RF-3 and continues to dazzle listeners by bringing them front and center for the sound experience of a lifetime. Since first shipping in 1999, the RF-3 has been, and continues to be the number one selling floorstanding loudspeaker in the United States.

The RF-35 delivers superior sound through its dual 8-inch, magnetically shielded woofers and a low-mass 1-inch titanium diaphragm tweeter, loaded with an exclusive Klipsch square Tractrix® Horn. The advanced horn design dramatically increases efficiency and allows the loudspeaker to produce more output using less energy. The audible result is extremely low distortion and high reliability.

Klipsch's distinctive, copper-colored Cerametallic™ woofer cones are still striking, but now they are tougher than ever. These cones are made of anodized aluminum, and the newest versions are harder and more dent resistant. The anodizing process converts their inner and outer surfaces to ceramic. The result is a rigid cone with superb damping characteristics that will not flex or resonate at frequencies within the woofer's operating range. Driving these cones are large, video-shielded magnets and high-temperature, long-excursion voice coils, which are highly efficient, and deliver deep, powerful, articulate bass without breakup or distortion. The RF-35 also has a flared rear port to minimize turbulence noise.

The RF-35 is a solid entertainer due to its crossover network that utilizes top-of-the-line internal wiring, polyester film-type capacitors and an air-core inductor all mounted on a high-quality fiberglass epoxy circuit board. These premium components ensure lifelike performances.

This newcomer introduces a sleeker, more modern look with a low-diffraction sculpted baffle and magnetically attached grille. This unique grille snaps easily into place for a low-profile look. The RF-35 also has stylish outrigger feet that can be fitted with adjustable rubber pads for hard wood floors or leveling spikes for carpets. Leveling spikes have the sonic advantage of improving bass response by channeling the speaker's energy to the floor.

A contemporary selection of black or light cherry wood grain vinyl finishes gives the RF-35 an elegant appeal that easily integrates into any décor.

This sonically and cosmetically impressive speaker delivers lifelike sound that puts you in the middle of a live stage performance, or gripping cinematic experience.
